Hello fellow citizens of Starrycrest,
Derrick and I decided to start a blog to help mark the beginning of a new era in Starrycrest. I still can’t believe it’s been a month since our coronation! Anyway, I figure it’s only appropriate to start with a little history lesson. I know many of you are wondering what happened to our favorite villain Trovella and, besides, you can’t truly move forward until you know where you have been.
So, here is the short version:
On the eve of my 21st birthday, despite having many doubts, I decided to break away from the status quo and went to see Trovella. She gave me the ability to walk, as well as dance beautifully, for three days in exchange for a number of precious crown jewels. We agreed that, if during those three days the prince did not fall in love with me, Trovella would no longer be obligated to grant wishes. My hopes of having Derrick declare his love for me in time were dashed when I found out that Trovella was using the power of the crown jewels to bring the nightmares of the people in Mooncrest to life instead of to grant wishes. I quickly realized that in order to save the life I always wanted, I’d have to take matters into my own hands. After successfully saving both kingdoms with the help of our beloved furry friend Dex and feathered friend Cliff, I went to Derrick; he declared his love for me and asked that I help run his kingdom in addition to my own.
